About the store
I teach high school drama and English and run the after-school drama program. My desk drawers are full of post-it notes, ink pens, fake stage blood, safety pins, and Gaff tape. In between grading essays and collecting sentences for my freshman students to study, I direct two mainstage shows a year, plus four showcases and producing whatever else the drama kids dream up. I’ve been working with youth for nearly 9 years in traditional classrooms, summer camps, community centers, and after-school programs. As a first-generation college student, I truly understand the power of education, especially theater and literature, to transform.
