Hello! I started my teaching career in 2010 after graduating with a Bachelor's degree. Over the past 11 years, I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade Science/Social Studies. I also taught Special Education K-2 (resource and push-in) after receiving my Master's degree in Exceptional Children K-12 in 2012. I am currently teaching first grade in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
I have taught a variety of learners including English as a Second Language, 504, SPED, and at-risk students. I absolutely love teaching the foundational skills and am also attempting to find my place in the TPT world! I have so many things to share with others and love finding new things from other educators! :)

Go Math! Chapter 10 Kindergarten Focus Wall
If you use the Go Math! curriculum in your kindergarten class and you want a kid friendly focus wall, this is the wall for you! I do have a bundle with all of the chapters. If you prefer to buy that, click here. I had a hard time finding a focus wall that made sense to my kiddos and I dislike having anything in my class that my kiddos cannot use, so I created a kindergarten focus wall for my own classroom--then I had a lot of requests for a first and second grade set. Teaching style
In my classroom, I believe that relationships come first and strongly believe in building a fun and respectful classroom community. I don't have a particular teaching style. I like to change things up whenever I see something isn't working for my students and I am very flexible when it comes to the needs of my students.

I can speak conversational Korean and have spent time in South Korean elementary schools. I find international education fascinating! I also love camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with my husband and fur babies.
