About the store

Experience

I have been a proud educator for 19 years. I have spent the last 7 years as an instructional reading coach. I am also a reading specialist working with at risk readers and dyslexic students.

Teaching style

I believe that students need to talk and move in order to learn. Students learn best in an environment where they feel valued and heard. Learning is a lifelong commitment, if I am not learning I am stagnant, therefore I must model what this looks like for my students and colleagues I work with and lead.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Certified reading specialist,First Year Educator of the Year award 1998-1999,Educator of the year award 2011-2012

Additional biographical information
