Exceptional Math

When teaching transformations in middle school, rotation seems to be the trickiest. I give this "cheat sheet" to my students to use during the lesson, review and the pre-test. Many students memorize it quickly, others rely on it throughout the unit. Hope you find it helpful!

This is a 5 paged activity with 30 open ended questions I created for my students the first week of school. I will give them time to answer as many as they would like. I plan to make this a time capsule activity, meaning they will get this back at the end of the year and see how much they have changed/grown.
