For students at beginning stages, the 3-D shapes for the poster are the same (and in the same order) as the initial practice worksheet. They can rely on the pattern to create a poster.

Here's an excellent introduction to velocity! The first page provides notes and a practice problem. The second page includes two additional problems. Early reading level text and drawing make this a fun, accessible activity. I use this lesson at a high school level for students on modified diplomas in Physics classes. It would also be great for TAG-identified students at the second/third grade level.
