About the store

Experience

I am a Special Education Teacher, specializing in teaching students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. I currently teach a 1/2 substantially-separate class.

Teaching style

I believe in the importance of interactive lessons and hands-on learning. Student motivation is key! Many of my lessons include built-in positive behavior supports.

My own education history

I grew up attending public schools, and graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. I received my M.Ed from Boston College.

Additional biographical information

I currently live in Boston, MA with my lovely cat Scout. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being active and exploring the nearby hiking trails.
