About the store
Teaching is tough, but my job is also a huge source of joy in my life! Thank you for checking out my store! For the past 9 years, I have had the privilege of teaching high schoolers (ages 14 to 22) with moderate to severe disabilities at one of the largest public high schools in North Carolina. I teach math, science, life skills and job skills. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to keep my students engaged, gain meaningful experiences and make connections between school and the real world.

I teach math, science, life skills and job skills. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to keep my students engaged, gain meaningful experiences and make connections between school and the real world.

Teaching style

My students prove time and time again that they CAN access the state standards when they are made accessible. The same goes for functional skills. I always strive to make real world connections to class content. I love getting to use my creativity to create lessons and activities that help students build skills to take with them after high school.

M.A.T in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte National Board Certified Teacher - Exceptional Needs Specialist
