CVC Short A Intervention Lessons - WORD GRIDS AND DATA LOGS
This intervention program provides explicit instruction lessons for 5 days with a focus on Closed Syllable Short A words. It can support advanced kindergarteners (in the fall), struggling kindergarteners (in the spring), first graders (in the fall), or struggling first graders/ second graders throughout the year. Each lesson should take 20-30 minutes. It is intended to be presented in small groups of 1-5 students. The length of time and number of students is entirely dependent on each student

Experience
Hello Friends! Thank you for coming to my store. I am an early childhood educator, working in the public school system, for 13 years. I have spent most of my time in the Kindergarten classroom. I also teach Musical Theater and other styles of dance.
Teaching style
In recent years, I have spent all of my spare time mastering the art of explicit instruction. Explicit instruction is fast paced, clear, provides multiple repetitions and is multi-sensory. My classroom and student learning has transformed as a result.
My own education history
I have a Bachelors degree in Theater Arts, a Masters degree in Reading and teaching certifications in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education and a Reading Specialist Certification.
