This is a fun "Get to Know Your Teacher" activity! Simply cut the headings that you would like to use, glue to poster board and add sticky notes with math problems for your students to solve. This could be used in any grade level, as the math complexity is totally up to you! The students could also make one about themselves during the first week of school!

This is a fun activity to use in the Fall with candy corn candies! The students can use the candies to show if the numbers are greater than or less than. I had my students use 5 pieces of candy, then they got to eat them. They used their pencil to write the symbols, and turned the assignment in for a grade. The kids had a lot of fun with this activity!

Experience

I am in my ninth year of teaching. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grades! I am a Tennessee girl that just moved to Arkansas! New state, new school!

Teaching style

I love making learning fun. I incorporate games and active learning styles as much as I can. If students have fun while learning, they will retain and apply what they learn as opposed to simply giving answers.
