Sweet Missing Addends: Match the missing addend equation to the correct addend candy jar. Record your answers on the recording sheet.
Commutative Property: Mix up the cards and put them in a pile in the middle. Deal each player 5 cards.

Roll and Remove Game: (addition to 12)
Both players start with a counter (or candy corn) covering each number on their number line. Each player rolls the dice and adds the two numbers together to find out which counter to remove. If the player rolls a sum that’s already been removed from his/her number line, the player loses a turn and passes the dice. The first player to remove all of his/her counters from their number line wins the game.

A great Thanksgiving themed math activity!
This activity is a great activity to practice addition from 5-20. This center would be perfect in your kindergarten and first grade classroom. The set includes 5-20 numbered turkeys and sorting addition equations written on turkey feathers. Students will lay turkeys across the floor and they will select one turkey feather at a time, determine the answer to the equation on the front of the feather, and attach the feather to the appropriate turkey.

Great for Thanksgiving math centers in kindergarten and first grade! Print on cardstock and laminate. Students will choose a build it card and build the numbers on the card using unifix cubes to find the sum. They will write the sum on the blank yellow box, using an expo marker. Includes 22 build it cards.
