This assessment reviews common data analysis terms such as Maximum Mode Bar Graph Survey Minimum Median Line Plot Data Range Pictograph Dot Plot Table It also requires students to find the maximum, minimum, range, mode, and median for a set of data and then construct a line plot to organize the data. For this activity, I use masking tape to create different (some irregular) boxes on the tile floor in our classroom. Students rotate in groups around the different shapes counting/calculating each shape's area and perimeter.
