This is a one page brief introduction to Dia de Los Muertos. It lends itself nicely to serving as a mini lesson before a related activity. Example: I have students read the introduction and then have them create Post-Its with questions they have about the cultural holiday. This is a great anticipatory set to do at the front of a unit on Day of the Dead. Over the course of the unit, we address the Post-It questions as they are answered.

This is a list of 25 frequently used emotions when paired with ESTAR. Students are able to learn the present tense form of ESTAR while studying emotion-related vocabulary. These two sheets act as anchor charts for students to write ESTAR sentences related to feelings and emotions.
