Use this lesson to help with research on flowers in Science or Reading. Students can research flowers and either work independently or in partners to find the answers to the questions. Then they use their creativity, as well as what they have learned about flowers, to invent their own flower for the world to see!

This is a fun activity for students to understand the difference between Idiom, Metaphor and Simile using a hands-on creative approach.

Students will read all about the Arctic and Antarctica and then complete short answer questions. At the end of the assignment, they will then complete an illustrated Venn Diagram. Have fun!
