I have spent the past 30 years in education with most of the years in the classroom. I took 3 years off to dabble in administration, but realized that the classroom is where true education occurs. The vast majority of the 27 years of teaching have focused on chemistry and physical science. I have also taught numerous electives over the years. I have also taught chemistry at the post secondary level.

Naming Compounds Decision Power Point
This power point walks students through the process of deciding which sets of rules to use in naming chemical compounds. Certain slides assist students in determining the type of compound by presenting them with yes or no questions. Once they decide, they click on the answer to either go to the set of rules to be used or move them further along the thought process.
