Teaching style
I believe in the value of kids talking and working through problems together. I love Common Core's focus on showing perseverance in solving problems and also on explaining the thinking behind a solution. I think that kids are the most engaged when they are "doing", so there's a lot of hands-on practice in my room. Looking for quality hands-on activities was actually how I discovered TPT, and I am so glad I did!
