About the store

Hello! This is Mrs. Teanna Streng, and I am an experienced first grade teacher and librarian! I began teaching in the Clark County School District during the 2007-2008 school year. I started out teaching at Hayden Elementary, and then opened a new school, Triggs Elementary, in 2010. I obtained my Library endorsement in 2014, and am thrilled to still be teaching at Triggs in the Library!

These bathroom bucks are a great way to keep track of students when they leave class to use the restroom! I give students 5 bathroom bucks at the beginning of each year. Students write their names on the back of each buck. We take 2 whole class "free" bathroom breaks daily, and students can spend their bucks for any other times when they need to go. I return the bathroom bucks at the end of each week. When students are out of bathroom bucks, I still allow them to go, but I am better able to

This document features "Treasure Chest Coupons!" Students earn stamps on a stamp card, and when their card is full they trade it for a treasure chest prize. I used to spend at least $20 a month filling up my treasure chest with toys, puzzles, and games from the dollar store. I stopped buying junk and instead put these coupons into a special treasure box, and my students LOVE it! Many of the rewards are cheap or free, and involve the entire class!
