Life Cycles Mini Pack

This listing has supplemental worksheets to go along with teaching students about life cycles. It includes graphic organizer pages to go along with the life cycle of a plant, frog, butterfly, chicken and sea turtle. There is also a worksheet that can be used to describe and inform about any life cycle as well as a book suggestions page to use along with the graphic organizers. These would be great to use to incorporate science into a writing unit, or to for work on writing literacy stations.

Experience

I have been teaching for 7 years and LOVE it! I am teaching first grade for my second year and am enjoying every minute of it. I have a background in special education and I just received my ESL endorsement. To teach is to live through an adventure day by day!

Teaching style

All students can learn. I enjoy using different methods and strategies to help my learners grow! Some programs I implement in my classroom is Daily 5, Guided Reading Plus, and Daily 3 Math. I also use strategies from "whole brain teaching" aka "power teaching." Brain breaks are also an important part of our first grade experience!

My own education history

I went to school K-12 in a west suburb of Chicago. Then went to college at University of Northern Iowa. I Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education k-6 and Special Education k-12. I went back to school for my ESL endorsement as well!
