Since many of these categories overlap (such as edible and flowering), some children may put pictures in different categories. I allowed this with my students as long as they could provide their reasoning.

It covers basic concepts related to the sun, Earth, and night and day and was meant as a fun way to review the material (my class loves making these and quizzing their family and friends!).
This was created to review first grade Social Studies SOLs 1.11 and 1.12 (VA and US symbols). Students can cut out the square, fold the paper according to the directions, and quiz themselves or friends to review the concepts taught.
