Here is a perfect whole class reward system. It has worked amazing in my class. I introduced it in the middle of the year because it was a lot to keep up with individual plans. For me, I played teacher vs students and if the students won, they got a token on the image. If we tied, I would draw a stick and play rock paper scissors. They are ready to go. I made big cards for the digraph sound. Then the little cards are the pictures they have to sort. There are no words with the pictures so that the students can think about the sound that the word has.
This is a perfect activity for partner work or small group work. The purple strips have words that have the ng or nk glued sounds. One students will grab a purple slip and without showing their partner, they will read it. Then the partner will spell the word. After the word is spelled they are able to self check.
