Acids and Bases Neutralization Reactions Worksheet

This document includes a neutralization reactions worksheet and the corresponding key. The worksheet requires each student to balance, identify the formula and phase of the salt formed, and name the acid, base, and salt in 18 neutralization reactions. The worksheet may take up to an entire class period depending on the skill level of your students. Content Covered on Worksheet: The worksheet covers 36 common acids and bases taught in general chemistry. Many cations were chosen because of their

Stoichiometry: Molar Masses Worksheet

This worksheet contains 20 practice problems centering on the calculation of molar masses. For the first ten compounds, students are asked to fill out a table to solve for the molar masses. For the later half of the problems, students are asked to solve for the molar masses without the use of a table. The worksheet is two pages in length and fully customizable. I have also included the answer key for all twenty questions, including work.

Acids and Bases Neutralization Reactions Interactive Worksheet

This excel document includes an interactive neutralization reactions worksheet and the corresponding key. The students are asked to balance, identify the formula and phase of the salt formed, and name the acid, base, and salt in 18 neutralization reactions. As students input their data into the spreadsheet, they will receive immediate feedback as to if their answer is correct (they will gain a point) or incorrect (they will not receive a point). The sheet also automatically gives a percentage an

Acids and Bases Graphic Organizer

This organizer covers the following eight topics - a list of 18 common acids, a list of 18 common bases, identification & properties of acids, identification & properties of bases, neutralization reactions, neutralization reaction examples, a review of solubility rules, and a review of naming common ions. This document is a template for the teacher who can then instruct his or her students on how to mimic the organizer on their own sheet of paper. Once completed, the organizer makes a great stu
