Pattern mats: Fruit, shapes, sounds, & unifix cubes
This is a great hands on activity that allows the students to create AB, ABB, AAB, ABC, and ABCD patterns using fruit pieces, geometric shape manipulatives, and unifix cubes. It even incorporates the students using SOUNDS to create patterns! This is a great way to actively allow the students to practice patterns and can be used as centers! Print the pages out and use them as mats. You can laminate them as well to keep them for extended use! You could also print them individually and allow studen
