The holiday season is nearly here and my student's are loving this candy cane themed card game. This card game practises final consonant sounds. I've been using these target words successfully with student's who are using final consonant deletion. Target words included: - /p/ - beep, nap, map, hoop, mop, hop - /t/ - mit, boot, hat, eat, bat, boat - /d/ - bird, bed, food, hide, ted, head - /k/ - yuck, puck, book, bake, beak, walk - /g/ - egg, pig, dog, bag, big, hug - /n/ - pan, one, cone, moon,

The target word that is practised on every page is 'eat'.
