Forward Thinking

This is a practice sheet that I used for my SPED kids to practice identifying keywords. Most keywords usually fall in a certain category. It gives them a chance to have a place to START instead of always guessing. I've used this as an IEP goal, class assignment, and/or a quiz. All they do is write the word underneath the appropriate column and mark it off. This will help build their problem solving skills.

I created this to gather writing sample data for my students with writing IEPs, specifically those with writing certain sentences and writing a good paragraph. You can write in your own 5 words in the blank. Good for integrating any subject vocabulary words as well! Can also be used as a center if you laminate!
