Scientific Method Lab: Effects of Sugar
This lab was designed to be used by 5th Graders with our Kindergarten Science Buddies But would work well as a lab with Grades PreK-4. Biome Fantasy World Narrative Story Handouts

Writer's Workshop: Personal Dragons- Metaphor
Dragons can be a metaphor for all manner of things in your life. These can be things that hunt you or lift you up. Students will write a poem, paragraph, or short story to demonstrate a personal dragon and their use of metaphor. The dragon should be a metaphor for a feeling or something in your life. Regional infographics: Encouraging voters in a Presidential race
Students will use their knowledge of state and regional symbols to design a poster to encourage voter turnout before an election. Biome Brainstorm (Whole Group) Lesson

Good teaching takes time and after years of creating lessons and finding what works in my room, I have units and lessons to share that my students find engaging. These babies are Google classroom and student ready. I love writing curriculum and finding ways to tie in multiple topics and standards. I also believe deeply that Teachers helping each other to cut down on prep time so that they can enjoy the time teaching and the time outside of school is of the utmost importance.
