I used these punch passes to help students make better choices as to when to leave the room. I created this sticker/behavior chart to help primary students track their behavior every 10 minutes. If they were on task, they got a sticker. If they weren't, they left it blank. My middle school students struggle with writing research essays. I have found they are lacking knowledge of the proper structure and the essential components of research papers. I have found that middle school students often don't know how to organize paragraphs in an argument essay so that they can cite textual evidence and their own experience evidence.
