Hi! I’m Todd Whittaker— Mr. Whitt to my students. Welcome to Fun Whitt Math!
I’m a middle school teacher with experience teaching 6th through 8th grade Math, Algebra 1 Honors, and Geometry Honors. Lately, I’ve even stepped into the world of ELA to teach Journalism! No matter the subject, I’m all about keeping things engaging, meaningful, and fun for students.
Every single resource you’ll find here was made because I saw a specific need in my own classroom. Math Inspirational Quote Poster
"Mathematics may not teach us how to add love or subtract hate, but it gives us every reason to hope that every problem has a solution." As a math teacher, I have seen this quote all over the place. I always liked it and wanted to put it in my classroom, but I couldn't find a poster I loved, so I made one. Well, two, actually. This product contains two 8x10 images you can print on letter-sized copy paper or cardstock to laminate and hang in your classroom.

Late and Absent Work Form

Just in time for Fall, Halloween, or Poetober, as it is called in my school, students can evaluate functions and color this Fall scene of a raven! 9 multiple choice questions are provided with positive and negative coefficients. The input values include both positive and negative values as well. All examples are linear or quadratic.

Exponents with negative bases is a concept my students often struggle with. I created this poster to help them remember when a square will be positive or negative. This product contains five letter-sized versions of this poster that you can print on cardstock to laminate and hang in your classroom.
