Hi! I’m Todd Whittaker— Mr. Whitt to my students. Welcome to Fun Whitt Math!
I’m a middle school teacher with experience teaching 6th through 8th grade Math, Algebra 1 Honors, and Geometry Honors. Lately, I’ve even stepped into the world of ELA to teach Journalism! No matter the subject, I’m all about keeping things engaging, meaningful, and fun for students.
Every single resource you’ll find here was made because I saw a specific need in my own classroom. When my students needed a better way to connect with content, stay organized, or stay motivated—I built something for them. I test it, tweak it, and only share it once I know it actually works. Equations with Special Solutions Task Cards
This product contains 24 task cards heavy with special solutions. The problems are randomly assorted, but there are 5 with no solution, 5 with a solution of zero, 5 with a solution of "All Real Numbers", and 9 other problems that solve to an integer value. You can have your students do all 24 problems to practice distributing, working with variables on both sides of an equation, and determining different types of solutions, or you can speed the activity up by having students find the 5 equation

Dimensional Analysis, also known as Unit Analysis or Unit Conversion, is a difficult skill for many students. Using Dominoes, this activity introduces the basics of dimensional analysis -- canceling out units, before conversion factors are ever introduced.
