Functioning in Middle

This is a set of guided notes to use when introducing students to what it means to be a function. It includes descriptions and examples of how to determine whether something is a function or not from ordered pairs, tables, and graphs. It includes 4 pages of notes along with an answer key. This is aligned with North Carolina standard 8.F.1 as well as Common Core standard 8.F.A.1. There are other great resources in my store that go along with this, including a differentiated practice and quiz set.
