I created a set of slides that help students uncover the meaning of new vocabulary words, unlock deeper meaning, and thoughtfully express their answers in easy-to-use slides . The slides can be released a few at a time or all at once, depending on what works best for you. These were patterned after several of my other slides: The Crossover by Kwame Alexander, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, Hoot by Carl Hiaasen, and now Fish in a Tree.

This Google Slide was created for the book 30,000 Stitches by Amanda Davis. It shows the story and encourages students to interact with the questions across various subjects.

This is a great way to tackle some of the concepts in the American Revolution with a hands-on virtual tour and learning opportunity. Students are able to explore the museum and dig deeper to answer the questions you pose. You can add to or edit any of the questions to make it work for you and your students. My students keep a vocabulary journal where they record new words they discover while they read.
