I created a set of slides that help students uncover the meaning of new vocabulary words, unlock deeper meaning, and thoughtfully express their answers in easy-to-use slides . The slides can be released a few at a time or all at once, depending on what works best for you. These were patterned after several of my other slides: The Crossover by Kwame Alexander, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, Hoot by Carl Hiaasen, and now Fish in a Tree.
PRICE REDUCTION!! These Google Slides take students chapter by chapter through Carl Hiaasen's Hoot! This reader's response guide dives into character development, cause and effect relationships, inferencing, sequencing, and symbolism, along with an exploration of the rich vocabulary found throughout the book! It's perfect for distance learning or in-class discussion.
This is a complete digital reading comprehension unit for Kwame Alexander's book The Crossover. This package focuses on characterization, inferences, sequencing, predicting, symbolism and so much more! The interactive slides are perfect for distance learning as well!
This project has been developed over 20 years to help students apply skills learned in math to life in the real world! They will learn how to balance a budget, pay for college, buy a car, a house, groceries and so much more!
This is a fantastic way to help students feel connected to their classmates in school or during remote learning. The idea is a basic House System similar to that in Harry Potter or the Ron Clark Academy. Students will be able to earn points throughout the year for academic, social, and emotional growth.
This has everything you need to set up your class from before the floors are even polished in your classroom to Back to School Night! This contains 18 slides chock full of name templates, new ideas, book picks, and even the first letter to your parents to get you started! This is a steal!
The Nathan B. Sharp Detective Agency is on the case! This online writing guide not only walks the students through some of the major elements involved in writing mysteries but helps them keep track of their ideas throughout the planning process. Students will love the creativity and become more eager to write!

My philosophy is simple. I believe there should be an element of fun in every fundamental element. Learning should be fun, it should be engaging and exciting! Education should be meaningful and powerful. It should be self propelling and motivating.
