About the store
I’m a Career & Technical Education teacher with experience in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Career Readiness courses across both U.S. and international schools. My background includes over a decade of teaching, curriculum design, and mentoring students in real-world, project-based learning environments. I’ve taught everything from business fundamentals and personal finance to digital literacy, leadership, and full entrepreneurship pathways, guiding students as they develop business plans, launch classroom startups, and build the skills they’ll use far beyond high school. Before teaching, I spent years working in business development, strategy, and leadership training. That industry experience shaped the classroom resources I create today: practical, engaging, and aligned with the real expectations students will face in college, careers, and the business world. My goal is simple — to make teachers’ lives easier by providing ready-to-teach, classroom-tested CTE resources that build confidence, creativity, and future-ready skills in every student.

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is built around real-world problem-solving, clear structure, and active learning. I believe students learn best when they’re doing something meaningful, so I design lessons that feel more like running a project, pitching an idea, or solving a challenge than completing a worksheet. I use a blend of direct instruction, guided practice, and hands-on application, with an emphasis on building independence and confidence. Whether students are developing a business plan, practicing workplace communication, or exploring career options, I focus on breaking big concepts into practical steps that any learner can follow. I also emphasize teamwork, creativity, and reflection. Students are encouraged to think like entrepreneurs, collaborate like professionals, and communicate like leaders. Above all, my classroom is structured, supportive, and future-focused — designed to prepare students for life after graduation, not just the next test.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve been recognized for my work in Career & Technical Education and for the real-world impact my students achieve. Some of my proudest professional moments include guiding students to win recognition in entrepreneurship and business competitions, leading CTE programs that improved student engagement and career readiness, and being selected to help develop curriculum materials used across multiple grade levels. I’ve served as a mentor for new teachers, helped launch schoolwide initiatives to strengthen project-based learning, and consistently earned positive feedback for creating lessons that make complex concepts accessible and meaningful. The achievements that matter most to me, though, come from the classroom — watching students who once lacked confidence present polished business pitches, discover career paths they didn’t know existed, and build skills they’ll carry into their future. Those wins are the inspiration behind every resource I create.

My own education history

I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on teaching and learning, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. My training blends instructional design, classroom leadership, and practical business strategy, which shaped the way I approach curriculum creation today. I also earned Qualified Teacher Status in the United Kingdom and have completed additional certifications in Career and Technical Education, classroom technology, and project-based learning. Having taught in both U.S. and international schools, I’ve worked with diverse learners and adapted curriculum across multiple educational systems and standards. This combination of business knowledge, educational training, and cross-cultural teaching experience gives me a unique perspective in the CTE classroom — and it’s the foundation behind every resource in my store.

Additional biographical information

Outside the classroom, I’m an avid chess player and coach. Strategy, problem-solving, and long-term thinking are a big part of who I am, and they naturally influence the way I design curriculum and guide students through entrepreneurial projects. I’m also a lifelong language learner and Vietnamese speaker, which has helped me connect with diverse students and adapt instruction for different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. When I’m not teaching or creating resources, you can usually find me at the piano. Music gives me the same sense of focus and creativity that I try to bring into every lesson and project. These interests shape my approach to teaching: structured, strategic, creative, and always focused on helping students develop real skills for real futures.
