About the store
I have been teaching Kindergarten in an urban setting for nine years. My passion is working with struggling learners and children with emotional disabilities. I have presented workshops for teachers on enhancing Science and Math curriculum in preschool and Kindergarten. In 2010, I began the journey toward leadership by enrolling in a principal/administrator licensure program. I believe that the success of all students lies in strong teacher leadership and I encourage my colleagues to explore their roles as leaders in their schools.

Differentiated Seed Exploration Unit for Kindergarten

This is a unit I designed very recently for Kindergarten. Each year in the spring I do a four week unit on seeds: the way they travel, why they are so important to the life cycle of the plant and what types of food come from seeds! This unit incorporates many different learning styles and alsogives options for formative and summative assessments. This unit culminates with a "Seed Snack Buffet".
