A board game designed around adding and subtracting mixed numbers. Students use dice to determine placement on the game board and answer an addition or subtraction problem to stay where they are.
Students get to create, capture and calculate additive volume in this hands-on project.
Students are asked to find or create 5 composite rectangular prisms using objects in the classroom. They are then asked to take a picture of each and insert in a GoogleSlide presentation. Finally, students are asked to find the measurement of each prism and label on the slide.

Students practice adding unlike fractions and using benchmarks all in this 4-in-a Row cooperative learning game. All problems equal 1 or
less, no improper or mixed numbers.
Students work together to solve the problem on each invention card. Students then order the inventions in which they occurred. All inventions were created in the 1900s. The answer to each problem is the last two digits of the year it was invented.
