Task cards for identifying the types of maps, and when to use each.
Maps included are: physical/political, climate, population, elevation, topographical and road maps.
Using addition, subtraction and multiplication of fractions, coupled with adding and subtracting decimals, students will plan the Super Bowl Party of the Year!
Students use a calculator to solve math problems. Then they flip the calculator to see a hidden word. They then, find the next card to solve using the hidden word.
Students will practice dividing decimals by whole numbers to the nearest hundredths place, as well as, dividing decimals by multiples of 10,100, and 1000.

Students work together to solve the problem on each invention card. Students then order the inventions in which they occurred. All inventions were created in the 1900s. The answer to each problem is the last two digits of the year it was invented.
Students practice multiplying by 2-digits using these 3 tiered task cards.
Tiers include:
Set 1- 2 by 2 no regrouping
Set 2- 2 by 2 regrouping
Set 3- 3 by 2 mixed
Students will practice dividing whole numbers by powers of 10 through an Apple Bounce game, 2 game sheets (for logging problems and answers), and a worksheet (with answer) key.
