Numbers in this product go up to the thousands place. Task cards are great for students to get up and move around the classroom while still engaged in academic content.
With this activity, students will understand the similarities and differences between multiplication and division using strip diagrams. Students can match word problems with the correct strip diagram. This is a great way to visualize groups, the amount in each group, and the total. This activity focuses on 6 X 8, 4 X 3, and 5 X 6 and can be differentiated to incorporate fact families and writing equations.
This product includes 15 matches between equations and models using multiplication and division with decimals. Equations include decimals X decimals, whole numbers X decimals, and decimals divided by whole numbers along with their corresponding model. Equations were intentionally chosen so that students HAVE to know the difference in order to answer. This product is intended to help students identify the similarities and differences between multiplication and division models with decimals.

Do your students have trouble identifying the difference between 17 and 70? Or 18 and 80? This BINGO game has tricky numbers (the -teen and -ty numbers) to help students identify their differences. In this product, you will receive 4 different BINGO cards, one blank BINGO board, cards with word form, and cards with Base Ten models.
This activity is great for helping students realize the difference between multiplication and division word problems. The word problems can be cut out so students can sort the questions based on the operation they would use.
In this product, you'll find questions associated with the 3rd grade Math TEKS. These questions are based off of each specific standard with, in some cases, multiple question per standard so you can use what fits with your daily plans. The question is in large font so students can see it from the back of the room and the numerical standard is located in the bottom right so that it is easy to find when you would like to put it up.
This activity is extremely rigorous, relevant, and engaging. Students will design their own game room. Their game room has to have the area of 60. There are multiple ways to get that area, so students must use the additive property of area to combine the area of rectangles to see which ones fit together to make a total area of 60.
This game is fun, engaging, and interactive. Students will divide 4 digit dividends with 2 digit divisors and locate their answer on the game board. Once they get three squares in a row, they win! Great for math stations/ centers and cooperative learning.
These are color coded standards based on the 3rd grade Math TEKS. They are color coded based on reporting category AND readiness and supporting standards. If they are printed and laminated, students and teachers could dissect each standard to better understand each of the TEKS.
In this product, you will receive a powerpoint with 15 destinations in a table. The destinations have a take off time, elapsed time, landing time, and a cost. For each destination, one piece of information is missing. Some do not have the take off time, some do not have the elapsed time, some do not have the landing time. Students will have to fill out the table in order to figure out what time their desired destination departs or arrives. There is also a cost associated with each flight. They c
Students will be able to design a carnival layout using different booth options. Each booth has a different area, so they will have to decide where they want to place each booth. This activity uses knowledge of both multiplication and division concepts.
This activity will allow students to understand the difference between the multiplication properties including the associative property, commutative property, distributive property, and partial products. Students will be able to identify and sort number sentences into the different properties.
