Translation, Reflection, & Rotation Station Activity
This activity consists of four stations.
1. Translate a figure according to a given rule and provide a rule given a pre-image and image, and a composition of transformations
2. Reflect over diagonal, vertical, and horizontal lines
3. Rotate 90, 180, 270 degree about origin
4. Rotate 90 and 180 degrees about a point other than the origin.
I gave students approximate 15 minutes in each station and had them move to the next one when the timer went off.

Angles, Postulates, and Segment Addition Review
This activity includes three tasks in which the students review how to name, classify, and measure angles. Draw a visual representation to illustrate each postulate, and apply the segment and angle addition postulates.

My basic teaching style is a Do Now, Homework Review, an interactive mini lesson, and then a fun activity to solidify the concepts in the students' minds.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting along with a minor in Mathematics, a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Education with a Specialty in Grades 5-9, and a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership.
