About the store
Through my 30-year teaching career I have worked very hard to create a thorough curriculum for Geometry that includes all of the Geometry state standards. I have designed a 14-Unit curriculum that includes pacing for each unit, a vocabulary quiz for each unit, list of theorems for each unit, notes and directly related worksheets, standards quizzes to match every state standard directly after the corresponding worksheet, review sheets for each unit, multiple tests for each unit, and an end-of-unit standards quiz. In addition to these items, I have created 1st and 2nd semester review sheets and exams, state test prep worksheets, many projects, and a lot of other creative items that I would like to share with my colleagues. As a result, the State End of Course Geometry Exam passage rate for my students was 83% when the overall state passage rate was only 43%. Check out the bundles to save a little money as well.

Units 1 - 2 Flash Cards: Theorems Used in Two Column PROOFS (Unit 2 - Day 2)

This set of 27 FLASH CARDS has been my lifesaver in my yearly attempt to teach Geometry students how to complete PROOFS. On Day 2 of Unit 2, I always print off these flashcards, have the students make cut-outs, and then help them fill out the backside of each flash card. When they are done filling out each flash card, I give each student zip lock baggie to store them and then I have them study them as their bellringer the rest of the week. The focus for the next couple days will be to ma

Unit 3 Flash Cards - Parallel Lines, Slope, Slope-Int, Point-Slope (Day 1)

With these Unit 3 Flash Cards, the students will have a quick way to study the important theorems and formulas of Parallel Line Unit. The students can make cut-outs and add them to the flash cards from Units 1 and 2. The students can then periodically study them as a part of their BELLRINGER at the beginning of class. I have them do these cut-outs on Day 1 of the Unit as a great way to preview the upcoming content of Unit 3. Related Unit 1 - Day 1 Products: Unit 3 Vocabulary Quiz / Pre-Test (

Teaching style

My philosophy of teaching is based on developing positive relationships with my students and being very structured with how my notes, worksheets, projects, standards quizzes, review sheets, tests, cumulative reviews, and standards assessments fall in line. I like to include music, dad jokes, picture puzzles, brain teasers, and storytelling to help students relate.

Additional biographical information

My focus over my teaching career has always been to provide the best possible learning environment for my students. As a result, I use my summers to update and add creative and relevant resources to my Geometry curriculum in hopes of continuing to grow as a professional. I pride myself on being ultra-organized, while teaching details with a bit of humor along the way. I approach every day as a chance to positively influence others as reflected by the "Positivity Promise" that my students say everyday at the beginning of the period before we start our lesson.
