This is my 17th year to be teaching Math. I first taught in a Junior high setting where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. For the last 15 years I have been teaching Geometry and Algebra 1. I have my Texas Certification in 8-12 math.
I call these my "Out Of Seat" activities. I usually tape the problems in the hallway, and then the students walk around and work out each problem on the record page. There is a warmup, notes page, and assignment. There are 7 class practice problems. Then there are 14 problems for the students to complete on their own. The 14 problems range from very easy area problems to ones that will make them think more. Here is YouTube link to me teaching the notes part of the lesson. https://youtu.be/m5X
This is to help students to know when to use the standard trig functions and when to use the inverse trig functions.
