Early Childhood, Elementary, or ESS student behavior tracking chart with detailed goals, expectations, rewards, and consequences. Used in conjunction with behavior strategists or child-specific aides who assist in monitoring student behavior throughout the classroom meeting times or transition times. The goals should be clear and consistent from week to week and in agreement with parents, faculty, staff, interventionists, etc.
Students often need a boost to refocus upon beginning a new semester and new year. The opportunity to author a New Year's Resolution to improve something within themselves and focus upon sharing their gifts and talents in the community can refocus and revive their learning mindset. The student summary or quick write is a narrative, first-person synthesis of the student's anticipated learning concepts. This can be a whole, small, or independent group activity.
Reading log to encourage independent reading, and Accelerated Reader quizzes (optional). The handout is self-guiding and provides opportunities for classroom incentive systems, etc.
Behavior tracking log for easy teacher and parent communication. Optional uses: special class codes or levels based upon classroom rules or policies, notes to parents in (or below) the data or score for daily/ weekly use, and reward chart as an incentive chart. Recommendations for copying final or end of week/ month for records and a family copy.
