It has the most resources besides my mysteries topic centers (coming soon!) This is a GREAT topic/unit for gifted students but can also be used in a general education Social Studies or ELA Classroom. This resource combines citation practice, with an army boot camp room transformation. This is one of my students' favorite lessons! Although the content is extremely rigorous, the boot camp keeps them engaged!
These are PERFECT for early finishers, engineering minded students, center time and makerspace! Includes: 43 different lego challenge cards with hand made border, and a free border attached for you to use into your own materials!
This mini unit takes students through the exploration of Newton's Laws of Motion and the Engineering Design Process to lead them to building their own Marble Maze and/or Roller Coaster!
I LOVE using this in my Gifted Classroom as a center! Really more suitable within a 5th grade Math Class as an early finisher or high achieving extension! Students will LOVE this strategy and won't even realize they're being challenged with Math Practice!
All in for the last week before Christmas Break! This is perfect if you need a quick and easy time filler. Aligns with all writing standards and reading standards. Have your students roll the dice to decide the components of their story, then fill out the plot diagram as a brainstorm. The students have so much fun with this creative writing activity!
SO MUCH FUN! Plot diagram and breakdown included. GREAT to use with any Halloween read aloud, book tasting, etc.
