Originally written for Gifted / GATE but can be used in the gen. ed classroom easily! This is one of my FAVORITE lessons in the WHOLE unit! It has the most resources besides my mysteries topic centers (coming soon!) This is a GREAT topic/unit for gifted students but can also be used in a general education Social Studies or ELA Classroom. These are PERFECT for early finishers, engineering minded students, center time and makerspace! Includes: 43 different lego challenge cards with hand made border, and a free border attached for you to use into your own materials!

This mini unit takes students through the exploration of Newton's Laws of Motion and the Engineering Design Process to lead them to building their own Marble Maze and/or Roller Coaster!

I LOVE using this in my Gifted Classroom as a center! Really more suitable within a 5th grade Math Class as an early finisher or high achieving extension! Students will LOVE this strategy and won't even realize they're being challenged with Math Practice!
