This is the 1st of several operation matching sets emphasizing basic addition, subtraction, & multiplication word problems. Students can match each of the 12 story problem cards with their corresponding operation (+, -, x) and their sum, difference, or product. Great as a math center!

Given 20 cards (10 matching sets), students explore a mental math strategy by matching multiplication equations with their partial products. These also provide a great introduction or reinforcement when teaching distributive property!
