These prompts are broken down by unit and lesson. They are based on the Formative Assessment prompts at the end of each lesson in Unit 1. One lesson is on a page to save copies! Just make the number of copies you need and cut apart. Students can glue them in a notebook and write to the prompt each day. If you have 1:1 technology, use an app like Doceri or Book Creator as a math journal. Kids can simply take a picture of the prompt and use it on the journal page for the day!

Experience

I have been an educator since 1993. I have taught: PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 1/2 multi-age, 3/4 Gifted cluster class, and have been an Instructional Coach for several years, whew! Teaching style

My teaching style is always evolving and changing. I love to learn new things that enhance my craft and promote higher student achievement. I am a very laid back, soft spoken teacher. I allow a lot of student choice (daily 5, where to sit, topics for writing, etc.). Technology is also a huge part of my teaching. I have had 1:1 devices for many years and have learned a lot about incorporating technology into my classroom.

My own education history

I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University. Go LOPES!

Additional biographical information

I am married, have three children (25,23,21), love to camp, 4 wheel, and photograph the outdoors.
