About the store
I have been an educator since 1993. I have taught: PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 1/2 multi-age, 3/4 Gifted cluster class, and have been an Instructional Coach for several years, whew! Arizona was my home for many years and the past 20 have been spent in Colorful Colorado. Curriculum development has also been a huge part of my teaching career. I have worked with curriculum at school, district and state levels; including developing and facilitating PD at all levels as well. You could say that it is a passion area of mine!

Math Expressions Unit 1 Daily Prompts

Created by
Gone Camping
These prompts are broken down by unit and lesson. They are based on the Formative Assessment prompts at the end of each lesson in Unit 1. One lesson is on a page to save copies! Just make the number of copies you need and cut apart. Students can glue them in a notebook and write to the prompt each day. If you have 1:1 technology, use an app like Doceri or Book Creator as a math journal. Kids can simply take a picture of the prompt and use it on the journal page for the day!

Experience

I have been an educator since 1993. I have taught: PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 1/2 multi-age, 3/4 Gifted cluster class, and have been an Instructional Coach for several years, whew! Arizona was my home for many years and the past 20 have been spent in Colorful Colorado. Curriculum development has also been a huge part of my teaching career. I have worked with curriculum at school, district and state levels; including developing and facilitating PD at all levels as well. You could say that it is a passion area of mine!

Teaching style

My teaching style is always evolving and changing. I love to learn new things that enhance my craft and promote higher student achievement. I am a very laid back, soft spoken teacher. I allow a lot of student choice (daily 5, where to sit, topics for writing, etc.). Technology is also a huge part of my teaching. I have had 1:1 devices for many years and have learned a lot about incorporating technology into my classroom.

My own education history

I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University. Go LOPES!

Additional biographical information

I am married, have three children (25,23,21), love to camp, 4 wheel, and photograph the outdoors.
