Activities to go along with the book Eat Like a Bear. Activities go along with the closed reading lesson given in curriculum engine. Students sort different foods based on the information in the book and then they can write about what they would eat if they were a bear and when they would find it. I bound the writing pages into a class book.

These lists are based on several sight word lists. The lists have 100 words on each page except the last, which has less. An easy way to test your kiddos, just highlight the words they know and keep the list for when they are ready to test for those they don't.

Want to have a little fun with your math? This will certainly keep your kiddos engaged. Give each of your students a designated amount of pumpkins and let them place them on their picture. They then have to create the addition sentence based on their picture. Copy the pumpkins onto orange construction paper and mount the finished page on black. They make great bulletin board works of art.

Stories of Migration is a wonderful book about animal migration patterns. This trifold was made to go along with the Journey's version, but can also be used for the stand alone book. This is great for whole group instruction for younger students or great independent work for older or advanced students. It's also a great way to break the book into chunks for a deeper reading.

This is a great way to decorate for an around the world unit. There are eleven different ways to say Hello in this unit. Product is editable to add more languages. Post them on your walls or greet your students with a new language each morning.
