I created this model to teach the following skills using a whole text approach: sizzling starts, five senses description of setting, mirror technique description of protagonist, dialogue creating rising tension using pebble - brick - boulder strategy, resolution, use of continuous metaphor or motif, and use of theme. It has worked wonderfully well across grades from year 3 right through to year 8. Please note on the second page the typo "conform" instead of "confirm". I used this to reinforce pr
