This is one of my top selling products! I made this powerpoint lesson as an alternative way to teach telling time to the hour and half past the hour. The presentation explains the hands of the clock and how to read them. I have a little 'trick' to help them remember. There are also examples for the kids to go through together.
I made these time worksheets (to the hour and half hour) when I taught grade 1. I provided them with different opportunities to assess their knowledge (draw the correct hands on the clock, write the time, circle the correct time) There are 8 pages to keep students busy.
I have broken down the steps on how to calculate mean in a grade 3 class by choosing numbers that are easily added and divided by a low number. Before you teach mean, it's important that your students have a solid foundation with multiplication and division (fact families).
I created these unplugged activities to give my students some practice with moving along a grid (up, down, left, right) You could use the cardinal movements (N,S,E,W) Each slide is a different theme. Students get to choose which slide they want to work on based on their interest. Some of the themes I include are: fairy tales, animals and nature. I was going to print the google slides, but can also be assigned to your online kids to be completed on a separate piece of paper or a google doc. You c
I made a quick 2 page worksheet to introduce students to the concept of capacity using a model they can relate to -- a small water bottle. The worksheet asks students to look at the items listed and state whether they hold more than a litre or less than a litre. This works for primary students or any students on a modified program.

These are money pages I made for my grade 2's. Students are asked to calculate change using amounts below $1.00.
Students are also given money problems and asked to find the total.
Finally I have included a money test.
I hope you find these useful.
Enjoy!
I like to use t-charts when I teach skip counting.
This helps me reach those students in the class that are visual learners.
I've included 7 worksheets that students can work through. First 2 pages include visuals for students to count. The following 3 pages encourage students to draw the pictures before completing the t-chart.
Finally I've included 2 challenge pages with no visuals. Students are encouraged to recall well known objects to complete the t-chart.
These pages could also be used be
I use these flashcards/task cards when I am doing graphing. Students are shown a survey question with 5 possible choices. Answers can be tallied together and shown as a bar graph. For example: What is your favourite colour? *blue *red *purple *green *other These flashcards can be easily cut and laminated to be used as part of a math center. 20 task cards/questions in all.
I made this handy conversion chart for my grade 4's as they work through the measurement unit. This chart helps the students convert metres into smaller or larger units by either multiplying by 10 or dividing by 10.
I created these coding activities so my students could learn about some famous black people while coding. Students are encouraged to read about the famous person’s life below the grid and then use coding vocabulary to code through the famous person’s life (up down, left, right). Follow their chronological age. This is a unique activity as I have not seen any other teacher create such an activity. I tried to find images to match each person’s life. I included the real photo of each person at leas
My 3/4 students have been craving escape rooms during our google meets. This escape room has math based questions (3 digit addition, 3 digit subtraction, time). Included is the classroom slide with hidden questions and google form answer page. Please be sure to make a copy for yourself. Enjoy!
I created this activity to help my students understand how to represent numbers in different ways. In this Google slide, I go over Place Value, Numeral/Standard form, Number words, Expanded form with numbers and expanded form with words. I also include some 'try it out' and review pages if you would like to assign this for your online students to work through.
Just in time for the Easter season, I made this short package to give my students more practice with spinners while incorporating the Easter theme.
I made 2 different spinners. Students will be expected to make a prediction based on the spinner, spin 10 times (please give each student a paperclip) and to record the results on the attached tally chart.
Finally students will write a summarizing sentence about their outcome and answer some questions.
Final page is a challenge for students to dra
I created these pictograph pages for my grade 3 class. For the following pages, students will need to know how to draw a tally chart. For the first 2 tables, students will be expected to complete a tally chart for the given pictographs to make sure they understand how to use them. For all pictographs, students will interpret the data by answering questions. The last activity will ask the students to create their own pictograph and interpret the data.
I have created this product to help my students understand Stem and Leaf plots/charts that we learn in our Data Management unit. This is meant for a junior math class as a teaching tool for teachers. Within these 25 slides, I go over the steps to identifying the stem and the leaves of numbers and how to sort them.
I created this quiz for my grade 3s. I taught them the difference between a centimeter and millimeter. I also taught them the conversion between the two: 1 cm = 10 mm. This quiz is to check their understanding.
It’s almost back to school time and I know I want to review time with my students.
I have made 3 time worksheets: the first two focus on telling time to the minute.
The third worksheet is all about elapsed time. To help with elapsed time, I allow the students to use our class clocks.
This comes with the answers as well.
Enjoy!

I created this algebra package to give my grade 3s a bit more practice with algebra. I started off by writing an equation with a missing factor and replacing it with a blank. For example: 5 + _____ = 7. My next step is to replace the blank with a letter. for example: 5 + m = 7, m = _______. And finally I created 2 equations with a missing variable. Both sides of the equation must be equal. For example: 5 + _____ = 4 + 3. Both sides of this equation must equal 7. Hope you find this helpful! Fre
