This includes 5 categories with 4 questions in each category in a Power point presentation. At the end of the Power point is a way to set this up if you don't want to use Power point. The questions at the end are somewhat different and there are 6 categories with 5 questions in each category. It includes a grid to put on the board or overhead or white board. These are comprehension and vocabulary questions about the story.

This is a case to be used to motive students to make observations and inferences. It helps them analyze information and reach conclusions. There are a number of labs that can be done with this case. This is just the case for them to solve.

The first time they do it, the time for them to complete it will be longer. Once they get used to it they will go faster. It is set up that they have to listen or watch for something to happen so they know it is their cue to do what is on their card. If anyone doesn’t pay attention and do their thing it will stop.

This is a chance to write letters in a journal with each of your students. By writing to them you will get to know them better. They will improve their writing skills by writing more often. I include my first journal letter to my students and 20 questions to ask as the year goes by. Please leave a rating! This could also be done as e-mail, since many students have e-mail accounts.
