Learning centres are a common teaching method in kindergarten and primary grades, so why shouldn't it be used with older students? These eight learning centres can work with any math unit and help students to track and develop good learning skills. Google Slides lesson on creating good surveys, collecting data from particular populations and organizing results. Students will learn about bias and sample versus population, and then will apply their knowledge in a survey task. Teaching instructions are detailed in Speaker Notes!
