This Power Point Presentation was designed to be used as a professional development resource. I created this presentation after I was asked to hold a workshop in order to help the other staff members in my school to better understand what co-teaching really is. Included are slides on each of the 6 different types of co-teaching models, the pros and cons to each, and videos that will help to show what effective co-teaching should look like.
This pdf file has a bunch of different activities that students can work on during a Life Skills class, or during some down time. One of the activities has a list of important but difficult questions that students have to answer. They have to decided how they would handle specific situations and explain why they would choose to handle the situation in that way. There is another activity called "Putting Up a Fight" where students have to figure out what they value most, and hopefully they will
This pdf contains a character trait chart. As students are reading, they use the graphic organizer to write down the different traits they uncover about the characters in their novel. It also provides a column where students provide evidence to support their selection of a trait.

There is a place for all pertinent information on this document. Once I have it filled in, I then photocopy the document and give one to every teacher who will have that student in their classroom the upcoming year. It's basically a cheat sheet for students with I.E.P.'s. I cannot tell you how convenient these sheets are. Other tea
Whenever I give my students an essay, I almost always give them this graphic organizer. This organizer helps them to plan out their introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, so that they basically have their essay written once they've completed this organizer. The question that I used for this particular organizer was for the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, but you can delete this question and insert your own. You can use it for any question in any subject.
